19Th Century Cavalry Sword And Scabbard
This a great looking 19th century cavalry sword which i believe is european. The sword is about 40 1/2 long with a 33 1/4 blade that is 1 1/8 wide. The sword is in very good condition and i liek the way the throat of the scabbard fits into the guard. The blade is in nice shape shiney with no pitting. It was sharpened on both sides at one time, but was a decent job. The scabbard shows some rust spots and some heavy pittnig toward the drag n the one side. This sword was one fo many that recently came out of a basement. The wood grip si in very good condition also. vOerall this is a really a nice sword. Sold to uas buyers only. Satisfaction guaranteed.
